Follow-up
Turns out or CC company isn't that great. Total cost for repair $333. What they covered $165. Turns out they won't cover 'time lost' unless the car company turns over fleet information. This is unlikely because the car company doesn't see it as relevant. The car company suggested we use Visa next time because they tend to be more reasonable. I'll post a few more thoughts soon. I'm ready for this year to be over...it has been a HUGE money suck for us.

Just a follow up. The CC company called and according to Montana Law, they have to pay for loss of use. So basically what we are out is $35. This is after I called, negotiated with the car rental company to reduce the charges to 1 day and the office charge by 15 bucks. Just a game they play and all around a waste of my time.
